New Cell Phone Time

Looking to pick up a new cell phone next week, due to this galaxy light phone I got is the biggest pile of shit ever made. I mostly use my phone for calling, texting, listening to music, and web browsing and email. My cell phone carrier is T-Mobile, so I have narrowed it down to the following phones:
- galaxy s5
- iphone 5s
- htc m8
- lg g3
-sony z1s

I am leaning more towards the lg g3, since I have always had good luck with lg phones. I am also thinking about the iphone, due to its resale value and it would work well with iTunes.

Since I have little knowledge on cell phones looking for any recommendations.

IPhone 5s will be succeeded by a new generation of iPhone Form factors in September likely.

If going Android, I'd suggest One M8, G3 or Nexus 5.

I have had the LG G2, and while it is a pretty decent phone I really hated the software skin that was laid over it. I just got the Galaxy S5 yesterday and I dig it it reminds me a lot of the Note3 which I fucked loved.

Here is the advise I will give you though.
First off....if you listen to music a lot on your phone go HTC One M8....I had the M7 and with the boomsound and beats audio, seriously best fucking phone for music/audio ever. End of story.

If you want iOS, wait for the iPhone6, might as well
I kind of feel the same way with the S5, if you want a bigger screen with a Pen, see what the Note4 brings.

My buddy has the m8 and he said its a great phone. I think I will head over to T-Mobile tonight and check it out. I don't really want to wait for the iphone 6, and the Note is too big of a phone for me. I will also look at the s5. Thanks for the input guys.

Ended up picking up the HTC m8last night. So far it's miles ahead of the galaxy phone I had.

Man, it's been awhile since I've logged in.

I picked up the LG G3 two weeks ago and so far it's a pretty sweet phone, I had a Galaxy S4 which was a sweet phone as well.

I really like the Guest feature they have where you can set up a separate screen with apps for them to see and they will never see the screen(s) you are on!
The camera quality is noticeably better than the S4 and the battery is pretty good as well.

I'm way due for a new phone, cracked my screen for the first time after 3 years, after hundreds of drops. Got a new screen changed for 50 bucks from this Chinese guy I found online, now a week later the corner of the new screen cracked. I'm thinking it wasn't oem.
I'm waitng to see what the iPhone 6 says since its only a couple weeks away. I'm hoping they come out with an iwatch. My cousin has the gearII and its very cool. I hate reaching for the phone while I'm working or driving just to read a text. A watch would be tits.

Everyone keeps mentioning that, but really I charge my phone everyday, and take my watch off at night, I have no problem taking it off and docking it every night.....I do that with everything else anyway?
But I do get your point though, having a watch to charge nightly could get annoying, but if ya want something like that then really cant help it ya know.

Don't really see the point in a smart watch in all honesty. I have a gshock that has bluetooth and has all the features I want. I mainly just wanted it for the phone finding feature but I end up never using it anyway lol.
I could see it usefull for quick look at texts and such, but other then that, typing on a tiny ass screen is pretty annoying.

I was reading they might be using saphire crystal screens which are the strongest substance after diamond. They had a phone with one on the video and they were using the phone as a hammer breaking rocks with the screen and there wasn't a scratch on the screen. That would be sick. No more cases.

I read a report that said it wasn't sapphire but who knows.

the iPhone is supposed to have one? or made partly of it? I saw a video of it.

I understand the screen is supposed to be made of it. It's already very expensive I doubt they would make the whole case, it would make more sense to be metal. Right now all camera lenses on all iPhones are made of it. Apple did buy the company that makes it last year, but I'm reading it may be too soon to see it on the next phone.
